From Structural Framing to Iowa’s 4.9-Star Seamless Gutter Specialist
Before founding Palomeque Gutter LLC, founder Peter Palomeque began his career in the Iowa construction trades in 2014, operating under the heritage banner of NPV All Construction LLC. Working across framing residential houses, erecting engineered roof trusses, crafting custom cedar and composite decks, and hanging exterior siding gave Peter an intimate understanding of building envelopes and structural load paths.
Over years on Central Iowa job sites, a glaring pattern emerged: more than 80% of rotted fascia boards, damaged eaves, and cracked foundations were caused by defective gutter systems. Cheap sectional gutters pieced together with caulked seams inevitably split after harsh Iowa freeze-thaw cycles. Loose nail spikes backed out of rafter tails under heavy snow loads, and undersized 5-inch troughs overflowed during torrential summer thunderstorms.
Even worse, homeowners were being subjected to aggressive national gutter franchises charging $8,000 to $15,000 for standard plastic guards and sub-par installations. Peter saw an opportunity to do right by Central Iowa families: bring industrial mobile roll-forming machinery directly to homeowners’ curbs, custom-fabricate heavy 0.032 seamless aluminum to the exact millimeter of every roofline, and charge honest, transparent, and fair prices.
On July 10, 2020, Peter officially registered Palomeque Gutter LLC with the Iowa Secretary of State (Domestic LLC #636243). Today, operating from Des Moines with its registered office in Grimes, IA, Palomeque Gutter LLC unites over 12 years of hands-on exterior construction knowledge with specialized seamless gutter craftsmanship.
“Treating Every Home Like Grandma’s House”
This isn't a marketing slogan—it's how Peter trains every member of our bilingual crew. It means:
- Zero High-Pressure Sales: We never trap you in your living room for a 3-hour sales presentation or pretend a quote is only good for 15 minutes.
- Fast, Itemized Pricing: Peter arrives on time, measures roof elevations, and provides a clear written bid detailing materials, downspouts, and guard options.
- Immaculate Cleanup: We sweep your driveways and flowerbeds with high-powered rolling magnets so not a single fastener is left behind to puncture tires or hurt pets.
